Hey Reenie! First, I just finished the episode you were eliminated from NLC (I refused to look you up before then for fear of spoilers) - and as I'm sure is true for so many others who watched, I totally fell in love with you and you were my absolute favorite. Second, what a delight to discover that you are as skilled and captivating with the pen (keyboard?) as you are in the kitchen. This story riveted me, both because I can relate to it with parts of my past - and also parts of the future that I'm planning (but in my case, it's an exodus out of nyc, rather than entry to into it). Anyway, absolutely cannot wait to read more! You are amazing.
I'm so looking forward to the next part! And yes, it's hard for people to comprehend the many layers that make up our path. It's not linear like we're taught most of our school life by the US education system.
Found you via Next Level Chef and I think this is the first time I’ve had a chance to read your longer form writing. You have SUCH way with words and I’m looking forward to reading so much more.
Thanks for sharing, just read part 1 & 2 - looking forward to part III! Something so comforting and hopeful to hear about people's journey. This helped me reflect on my own journeys as a fellow Bangladeshi who moved to a city to start her career and found herself in a series of challenging times and moments of self doubt. I found cooking to be an escape and therapy almost and as I still figure out life, I am happy to have found you. Rooting for you!
however parasocial this may feel, as a fan i’m really proud to watch you grow and succeed!

Already looking forward to reading part II. Thank you for opening up and being vulnerable – makes some of us feel less alone.
